Top Gear Christmas Special in India - airs 28th December
It’s almost Christmas, so there’s a Top Gear Special in the offing. This time to India, and the BBC have released a video trailer. Back in October we reported that the Top Gear team had decamped to the Subcontinent to film a Christmas special for the Beeb.
The new, more Evoque-ative Range Rover was officially unveiled a little over a week ago. At the time, Land Rover only deigned to announce pricing for the United Kingdom. What with their pounds and value-added taxes and right-hand drive, it left those of us on the other side of the North Atlantic to visit the Educated Guess Millinery.
News reports say two plug-in electric cars--a 2011 Chevrolet Volt and a home-converted Suzuki Samurai--were destroyed in a garage fire in Barkhamsted, Conn., on April 14. The destroyed Volt had just 2,000 miles on the odometer. The owner said he converted the Samurai to electric power a few years ago.
